CJ was our first moose hunter in the Sugarloaf area since we obtained the National Park Service hunting concession in 2014. CJ was guided by owner and registered guide Cabot Pitts. Also attending the float hunt was CJ’s good friend Dave Openshaw. Hard hunting paid off, harvesting an amazing record book 65 inch wide bull officially scoring 238 B and C on the 8th day of the hunt. CJ and Dave also enjoyed the unbelievable sport fishing the area had to offer. They both caught rainbow trout, grayling, lake trout, silver salmon (Coho), red salmon (sockeye) and arctic char / dolly varden.
