Our Wrangells Dall Sheep Hunts are held in our two guide exclusive concessions within the Wrangell St. Elias Park and Preserve. There has been a proven track record of great quality and consistent numbers of sheep over the years. Being very selective on the harvest, these areas offer high success and excellent opportunities at trophy rams in the 36″ to 40″+ range.
Hunters will fly into base camp where gear will be gathered, and a more traditional backpack style sheep hunt will take place. Spike camps located 5 plus miles from base camps will be utilized, and hunters should be prepared and able to carry at least a 60-pound pack to and from these spike camps. At this point, hunters will then go on day trips out of that location. Inland Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, Wolf, and Wolverine can be added on a trophy fee basis.
